About this experience

Gifts from beyond: preserving tattoos after death

It may sound unusual, but it is possible. Anyone who wants to leave a meaningful gift and preserve their tattoos after death should ideally notify NAPSA during their lifetime and become a passive member of the association. The organisation then contacts the funeral home holding the remains with the tattoos and negotiates an arrangement. After three to six months, the artwork is complete and delivered to the family, or to whoever is to receive it.
