About this experience

Facing grief together

Book bereavement support suited to you, providing a space to talk together about what you have experienced and what has passed, and to find ways of living with loss and the pain it brings. "Farewell and death have touched my life at different times. Within my family, I learnt what it means to let go of a child. Every loss of a relative or friend brought me to the limits of what I could bear. I also experienced how other people supported me through those times. Gentle guidance encouraged me to follow my own grieving process. These experiences have given my life greater depth. Alongside my life experience, I am trained in emergency pastoral care, post-incident support and integrative bereavement support. I am a member of the Bundesverband für Trauerbegleitung e.V. and regularly take part in further training and supervision. I have worked independently as a funeral celebrant and bereavement practitioner since 2011. In Stendal, I set up a project with partner organisations to support grieving children. Together with those responsible for hospice work and services for bereaved parents, I founded the Trauernetzwerk Altmark. I teach on training programmes for volunteers in children's community hospice services and speak at seminars for the Christlicher Gesundheitskongress. I also run seminars on grief and loss. Through the grief labyrinth, I offer a practical activity from the grief workshop."
