About this experience

Funerals in a columbarium

A dignified place of remembrance A columbarium is a distinctive form of interment for cremated remains, bringing traditional values together with modern funeral practice. Urns are kept in designated niches within a building or vaulted structure, often in a cemetery, at a church or alongside a crematorium. Columbaria may be indoors or in the open air. The design of the niches varies according to the site and local requirements. After the interment, the niche is closed with a memorial plaque bearing the name and life dates of the person who has died. Some sites permit alternative materials that allow the urn to remain visible. A columbarium gives families a permanent, cared-for place of remembrance without the responsibility of tending a grave. We contact a suitable columbarium and arrange a place that reflects your wishes. Our service covers all essential steps, including cremation, transport within Germany, hygienic care, all official formalities and use of the columbarium for an agreed period. A funeral address at the site is also included.

"Losing someone you love is very painful. Being able to design the coffin ourselves, together with the professional support we received, helped us enormously and made the death a little easier to comprehend. Thank you to your entire team."
