Funerals on a final sailing voyage

Only those who know where they want to sail can set the sails correctly.

About this experience

Only those who know where they want to sail can set the sails correctly.

For many people, the sea is a lifelong place of longing. Whether the Mediterranean or the Caribbean, it represents freedom, calm and infinity. A funeral on one final long sailing voyage carries these feelings with it: a farewell that does not end on land, but leads out onto open water. We arrange individually planned burials at sea around the world, including for smaller groups and always on fair terms. If desired, we organise a suitable sailing yacht and experienced crew. It might include a quiet ceremony at sea, a pause on a deserted island or the committal of the ashes in a special form, such as a water turtle. Every detail is prepared with care and the ceremony is conducted with dignity. Family and friends share a farewell that slows the pace, brings people together and remains with them. The sound of the waves, the wind in the sails and the wide horizon create space for memory, gratitude and letting go.

Translated from the original German

"The range of options is incredible. Fortunately, we do not need your website's service yet, but if the time comes, we know who to contact."

Veronika Haas

"Losing someone you love is very painful. Being able to design the coffin ourselves, together with the professional support we received, helped us enormously and made the death a little easier to comprehend. Thank you to your entire team."
