About this experience

Find your final resting place in one of Germany's beautiful FriedWald woodlands.

A burial in a FriedWald woodland. On the day of the funeral, the woodland forester welcomes the funeral party. The master of ceremonies brings the urn, which family members can then carry to the tree grave. The arrangements are usually agreed during the welcome, but they can of course be discussed with the master of ceremonies in advance. Once all the guests have arrived, the forester accompanies you to the resting place. There are many ways to personalise the funeral service. Alongside a eulogy, music can offer particular comfort during the burial, whether provided by a DJ, an instrumentalist, a singer or a recording. Guests may pass around a stone or something personal from the garden at home before placing it in the grave. Children attending the burial can add pictures they have drawn, or flowers and leaves gathered in the woodland. The following services are included: • Simple lined coffin (for a person weighing no more than 100kg & measuring no more than 195cm) • Decorative urn • Transfer from the place of death (the package price covers all of Germany) to a German crematorium of our choice • Registration at the German crematorium • Crematorium fees • Cost of the legally required second post-mortem examination at the crematorium • Bearers for the transfer • Basic hygienic care of the person who has died • Laying out and dressing the person who has died (own clothing may be used) • Deregistration of the person who has died with the relevant residents' registration office
