Tree and woodland burials are among the newer forms of funeral in Germany and have become increasingly popular. They offer nature lovers an alternative to more traditional forms of burial. Several types of tree plot are available, from a basic place beneath a tree and partner trees to whole family or friendship trees. A traditional woodland burial can take place in a memorial woodland of your choice with up to 80 guests. The following services are included: • Simple lined coffin (for a person weighing no more than 100kg & measuring no more than 195cm) • Decorative or biodegradable urn • Transfer from the place of death (the package price covers all of Germany) to a German crematorium of our choice • Registration at the German crematorium of our choice • Fees charged by the German crematorium of our choice • Cost of the legally required second post-mortem examination at the crematorium • Bearers for the transfer • Basic hygienic care of the person who has died • Laying out and dressing the person who has died (own clothing may be used) • Deregistration of the person who has died with the relevant residents' registration office
