For someone who knew and lived by Indian teachings, and who loved colourful fabrics, flower petals, abundant lights and Bollywood-style entertainment, our “Indian Goodbye” may feel like the right farewell. We develop the funeral service to suit your individual requirements. We arrange authentic soul food and original Indian spices, and can also provide Ayurvedic food and drinks intended to bring the guests’ bodies and minds into harmony and balance the three doshas. Inspired by Diwali, the setting can be filled with strings of lights and oil lamps. We can take a favourite Bollywood film as our visual guide and add gold, Hindu statues and elaborate flower garlands. A Holi Colour ceremony or fireworks are also possible as a highlight. Belly dancers can accompany the funeral procession before everyone later dances to Indian hits, celebrating once more what the person who has died loved about life.
