About this experience

The final dive

Return to nature and the remarkable underwater world. A diving funeral is a highly personal form of burial and can take place in lakes and seas around the world. During a dive, the urn containing the ashes is placed at an underwater site such as Neptuns Reef. A memorial video is also filmed beneath the water. If they feel able, family members can accompany the underwater funeral as divers, or receive instruction beforehand. The funeral gathering afterwards might take place on board a boat, on the beach or at a beach club. As a special service, you can also receive free access to the new LIFE ID funeral planning app and an entry in the "Horizon" guestbook of life, so that those you love can visit you there at any time.
