The final run
A fitting farewell for passionate skiers We offer a special way for committed skiers to say goodbye. Together with the bereaved family, we travel to the person's favourite ski area. Everyone can spend another day in their honour, enjoying the warm winter sun and the icy rush of air on the slopes. As snow crunches beneath your feet on the walk to a mountain hut for lunch, the scent of fresh Germknödel with vanilla sauce and plum compote begins to fill the air. This is a fitting place for the funeral ceremony, which usually takes place during the day and culminates in a shared descent to the valley. The highlight is a farewell après-ski party, where friends and family can share old stories and anecdotes, dance and celebrate. The focus is the skier's life and their particular passion, rather than their death. This is intended to be an emotional and unconventional farewell: grounded in life, joyful and life-affirming.

"Thank you for the many moving moments at our father's funeral service – it was exactly what he would have wanted!"

"It is difficult to find a funeral director willing to care for a four-legged companion who has died. From the first contact and the cremation through to the keepsake: thank you."
