Ashes to vinyl: a record that keeps a life playing

Up to 30 individually personalised albums are produced for each bereaved family member. The ashes are scattered over the raw vinyl before the record is pressed. The result is a playable record featuring a favourite song or album, perhaps music that held special meaning for the person who died. Their own voice can also be included. Their life story, quotations, sayings or other recordings can be prepared for those who receive the record to hear for years to come. This brings together farewell, ashes and music in a completely new way. The package includes 30 records with music or voice recordings on both sides; a personalised label on every record; a choice of black or clear vinyl; a bespoke cover; high-quality inner sleeves; and two presentation boxes.
