Being present for the cremation

A personal farewell

About this experience

A personal farewell

Some crematoria allow family members to be present as part of their goodbye. We can find out where this is possible and organise the arrangements for you. Certain crematoria provide a dedicated room for families. From a bench in the simple, intimate space, those close to the person who has died can watch through full-height glass as the wooden coffin is carried into the cremator. In some cases, they may also be present nearby and add a final item to accompany the person who has died.
