About this experience
Gravestone with a screen
A gravestone with a Bluetooth screen. At the cemetery, the screen initially remains in standby mode. An OR code on the stone can bring the display to life. Audio files can only be played through a smartphone, allowing the family to decide which visitors receive access to activate the complete system. The screen switches on when a special talisman is nearby and connects to the gravestone using Bluetooth Low Energy technology. It then displays the name, date of death and further information about the person who has died. When visitors leave, the screen goes dark again.
