Mask-Bot is a new technology that can replace the usual image of a person on a monitor with a physical likeness that sits at the table, looks like them and speaks. To create a face for the robot, Mask-Bot does not need to rely on a video feed. Newly developed software can take a two-dimensional photograph and proportion it correctly as a projection for a three-dimensional mask. Other algorithms give the face expression and speech, allowing it to convey spoken words in real time. The robot can also address the family with your own final words after your death.
